My name is Renee, I am in a situation that regards my safety, I live in an apartment building that among other serious problems to the building, we now have raccoons, we have had the problem for over a year and unfortunately the only thing my landlord is doing in spite of the many times I have contacted him, has decided that the "catch and release" method is the best, I have told him several times that method will not work because they will come back and will contain even more problems then when they were here before, but he has done nothing more about it even when another tenant experienced them falling from her ceiling into her bathroom, he only relocated her and fixed the ceiling in that area and rented it to someone else. Since I'm a month to month tenant I want to notify the proper people, but in doing so, I know I along with my dog will be kicked out immediately. I'm asking for help so I can safely relocate as soon as possible, I'm on disability, so I live month to month and find it very difficult to get the money that I need upfront to get out safely. I'm hoping to be able to get into a house that I know is safe and secure and I will be able to take care of any infestations on my own the proper way. I'm asking for the help from anyone that can help to get me into a safe, secure location that is also very safe for my dog.
