We desperately need help getting our beloved Charliedog to join us here in Vietnam!
He was turned away at the airport for being "too large" to fit in the cargo (despite the fact that he can, apparently, fit just fine if it's a dedicated pet-shipping company shipping him), and we have been in contact with several companies to get him to join us here ever since.
He was in a foster home for a while and is currently staying at a pet boarding facility while we work with various US and Vietnam-based companies to get quotes to have him shipped here.
It is RIDICULOUSLY expensive, as you can imagine! And so we've also looked into having a friend or family member fly out to Vietnam with him as (hopefully) cargo again. However, this is also costly, and the people we know who could do this are not available for a few months... so the money potentially saved by this option is essentially used up by paying Charlie's boarding facility.
The cost for shipping Charliedog to us, from nearly every company, is approximately $6-7000!
Quite simply, we do not have those funds at the moment and desperately need any help you are able to give.
I honestly do not know what will happen to our sweet Charlie if we cannot get him over here soon, and would appreciate any and all help to reunite him with his family!
