From the age of 15 I have been living on the streets of Cleveland Ohio. Through hard work and building deep connections in my city I have been able to pull myself up and find some form of stubility. Getting my first apartment at the age of 21 and trying to ground myself in a community. I have worked very hard to get to this point in my life at the age of 26 to be a first time homeowner! While I am proud of how far I have come I realize that homeownership comes with many challenges!
I have been able to learn from members of my community on how to care for things such as electrical inside the home but I don't think I was prepared for the challenge of not having a functioning backyard or the potential risk of rotting trees and low hanging branches.
this is about the safety of my home, myself and my bestfriend dakota(my dog) and also preventing potential hazardous situations. I have already had a tree fall in my yard and the fear is another will fall but on to my neighbors property.
please help me create a safer yard for myself, my neighbors and my furry friend!
Funds will go to having several rotting trees removed from the yard, a trim and repair for the remaining healthy trees and removing any low hanging branches they are laying on power lines.
