Hello, my name is Alison and I created this SPOTFUND for my 8 year old chihuahua, named Simba. He needs urgent surgery- a cystotomy- to remove bladder stones that are causing him severe pain and putting his life at risk.
My boy Simba is the kindest dog there is. Anyone who’s ever met him instantly falls in love with his personality. He’s gentle, goofy, and full of love. People who meet Simba don’t forget him. He just has that effect on everyone. That’s what makes this so devastating…seeing such a happy, loving soul in pain is breaking me.
While I do have pet insurance, it’s the most basic plan. It’s the only one I could afford and unfortunately, it barely covers anything. The cost of this surgery has been estimated at $2,800, which I simply cannot afford. This has been incredibly overwhelming. I’ve looked into every possible option, but I’ve come to a place where I need to ask for help.
I’m doing everything I can to raise the money. I’ve been selling what I can, trying to promote muy services everywhere I can, but it’s just not enough in time. That’s why I’m turning to the kindness of others. If you’re able to donate anything, even a few dollars, it would truly mean the world to me and Simba.
