Last Thursday afternoon the dryer in Tabatha and Xanders upstairs unit caught on fire, thankfully on the day Xander was home sick.  He alerted Tabatha to the fire and they were able to quickly escape with 2 of thier 3 fur babies. Unfortunately the unit and basically anything not glass was a total loss. Tabatha is a single mother who for the last three years has worked from home as a Virtual Real Estate Assistant. Unfortunately her office and work equipment were also lost. For someone who has never asked anyone for help, I basically had to force her to let me make her this account. Her son Xander is a freshman in Gulf Shores High School and with the apartment complex not offering her another unit or anywhere to go, she will have to stay with family in Elsinore. That means she will have to drive Xander to and from gulf shores twice a day. All while trying to pick up the pieces of losing everything. 
   So many people have reached out asking what they can do to help, but realistically money is what she really needs. Having to come up with cloths, furniture, A PLACE TO LIVE, deposits, gas back and forth from seminole to Gulf Shores every day.  Everyone knows how hard times are right now so don't feel you have to give. However if you feel it in your heart to help someone who most everyone in the community knows, someone who always helps others but needs help herself. Please consider donating.
