Tigersden is a 501C not for profit cat rescue in Rhode Island. We are small but mighty just like this state!! We get no federal funding and we rely on your generosity to save more cats and continue our trap neuter return work to prevent the population of feral cats from expanding.
The kitten pictured is Mindy she was rescues at just about 3 weeks of age. Her and her 7 litter mates were out in the rain and cold they were emaciated anemic full of worms and covered in fleas. Their mama was not making enough milk to feed them due to her own poor health. One kitten had already passed away when we found them. We hand raised them and nursed both them and their mama back to health. All 7 of the remaining kittens got loving homes and mama was also adopted by the kind foster volunteer they worked around the clock to save this family.
This is just one of many many stories. We need help to keep saving lives. Veterinary care is not cheap and quickly adds up. This fundraiser is to raise money for veterinary care for cats in need so we can continue to help. On average it costs about $300 per cat or kitten just for basic care shots exams blood work say or neuter and medication. If we get a kitty that is sick or injured then it costs more sometimes alot more. We really need your help to continue to save lives.
