My son is Jerome Bolton Jr., he is 28 years old, and was born with Sickle Cell Anemia. Even though; he had complications it never stopped him he graduated high school on time and tried to obtain his real estate license but due to being in the hospital often that dream didn't come true. Last year in May Jerome was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (All). This was another challenge he had to face, by God good grace in August 2020 he was in remission of that cancer. In March 2021 after having a biopsy done the cancer has returned and its very aggressive. We were told that the treatment he needs is not in Georgia. There are only 3 locations ( Texas, Florida, & Tennesee) but the #1 cancer hospital in the United States is The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Where this treatement is being researched and used, the name of this treatement is CAR-T treatement its a treatment that deals with his immune cells helping them fight the cancer. Because its out of state, his insurance doesn't cover out of state treatment, so we are responsible for medical finances, travel, and lodging for 2 months. We would love for our family, friends, and anyone with a kind heart that would help with the medical finance, traveling, and lodging while we are in Houston, TX.  I will be traveling with my son and we both will appreciate any help.
