I am putting this fundraiser together during a major transitional crisis for my family. Recently, my entire focus has been dedicated to helping my son navigate addiction recovery. While getting him the help he needs is my top priority, the strain of this situation unfortunately resulted in the loss of my job.
Right now, we are entirely without transportation and falling behind. I am raising emergency funds to accomplish three immediate goals to get us (me, him and 2 younger children) get financially right:
Pay the immediate bills keeping us afloat right now.
Purchase a very affordable, basic used vehicle so I can commute to job interviews and secure employment.
Ensure my son has the stability required to continue his recovery path.
