Hi everyone! My name is Nikole Crawley, and I’m a junior at Georgia State University majoring in neuroscience. I have been given an amazing opportunity to study abroad in Norway, where I will work in a cutting-edge neuroscience lab, learning from top researchers about the brain’s role in rhythm perception and its therapeutic applications.
This program is a dream come true and a crucial step toward my long-term goal of earning a Ph.D. in neuroscience. I am especially passionate about pediatric neural development, and this experience will allow me to gain hands-on research experience in an international setting. It will also push me out of my comfort zone, helping me grow both personally and academically.
Why I Need Your Help
Studying abroad is expensive, and while I am working hard to cover costs, I still need support to help with:
✅ Program fees
✅ Travel expenses
✅ Housing and daily living costs in Norway
Last summer, I took a leap of faith by completing a summer internship at UC Berkeley, where I learned how to navigate life on my own. That experience inspired me to continue challenging myself and exploring the world—because I truly believe that growth comes from stepping outside our comfort zones.
How You Can Help
Any amount, big or small, will help make this dream a reality! If you can’t donate, please consider sharing my story. Your support means everything, and I’m beyond grateful for any help you can provide.
Thank you for believing in me and being a part of my journey! 💙✨
