Our beloved Ken Delaney recently suffered a severe and unexpected stroke that has turned his entire world upside down. The stroke left the left side of his body paralyzed, and he is currently unable to eat or swallow on his own. Ken is also experiencing significant speech impairments, making communication and daily life extremely difficult.
Before this tragedy, Ken was the sole provider for his household—a hardworking, dependable man who always put his family first. Now, he faces an uncertain future. Doctors don’t know how long his recovery will take, or if he will ever be able to return to work. What we do know is that the road ahead is long, emotional, and financially overwhelming.
Ken’s wife, who is unable to work due to their circumstances, is doing everything she can to hold their world together—managing his care, navigating medical decisions, and trying to organize the countless details that come with a medical crisis. She is exhausted, heartbroken, and doing all she can to stay strong for Ken.
