Hello everyone! My name is Lucy Flood, and I am a sophomore at Belmont Abbey College in Charlotte, NC. This upcoming March, about ten students from my school will be traveling to the Dominican Republic to assist the disadvantaged people in Santiago, DR. This will be a medical mission; we will be working with the Knights Al Malta and other doctors traveling from the US. The primary job for me and my fellow students will be assisting the doctors as scribes. We will be assisting 300 patients, 100 patients a day.
Over the past two years, I have been on two mission trips and each time, I have encountered the Lord in a new, powerful, and life changing way!
