Raising funds to be able to relocate to John Hopkin's All Children's Hospital in Florida. I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and my baby was recently diagnosed with severe CDH(Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia). For anyone who is unfamiliar with the term, it means that she has a hole in her diaphragm that didn't hear and it has caused all of her organs to move up into the top of her left chest cavity, taking away the space her lung needed to grow. Her heart is now pushed to the right wall cavity and is making it harder for her right lung to fully develop. When she is born she will need surgery to move all of her organs into place and will be spending about 2-4 months in the NICU until she is able to breathe on her own. The hospital we were supposed to relocate to in Ohio(Our home state), gave us a 50% chance of survival for our baby, so we have chosen to relocate out of state to a hospital in Florida who has given her a 95% chance of survival. For insurance reasons, we will have to be relocating to Florida in about 3 weeks, so that we can secure our spot at the hospital and begin scheduling our appointments. Overall my husband and I will be spending about 6 months out of state to make sure our baby gets the best chance she can at life. We don't yet know how we are going to pay for all of our housing expenses and bills, but we are trusting that God will provide for us and give us wisdom along the way. Anything that you feel in your heart you can give to help us out on this journey whether that be prayer or money is so very much appreciated!
