Dear friends and family,

Thank you all for your help in the past year.

I just wanted to update you my current situation

  • I moved to the Assisted Living Home a few weeks ago. It's better than the nursing home. I
  • The only problem is the food is not well. I told the guy before I moved here that I require special diet...He said "Oh yeah" no problem.
  • Well, he lied. I think he is getting free government food. So again like the last place I cannot eat anything as it makes ill. Immodium doesn't not even work.
  • So this means that the $300 that I have left over from disability has to go all to food. As you all know food is not cheap
  • I applied for food stamps and am still waiting.  It's been a few weeks.

As, after spending all that on food, I am unable to get other things like toiletries, cleaning, supplies, etc. I don't have a car so I'm mostly stuck here all day

Thanks for reading all of that.

Now I'd like to update you on my health.

  • I am currently on hormonal pill and was supposed to go on a stronger one. They gave my an EKG before I took the medicine and found something strange in my heart. So the Oncologist said to wait a month to see what happens. That really scared me.
  •
  • The neuropathy has become absolutely out of control. I have to wear compression socks and a hip sleeve around my thigh. The pain sometimes makes me cry.
  •
  • It's also worse because I have to walk to the store as I don't have a car and cannot afford a Lyft. So it makes it very painful.  They have handicapped buses but you have to walk there.
  •
  • At least insurance provides rides to medical appointments.
  •
  • They now have me seeing a palliative care doctor for pain management. I guess they prepare you for death. There are five parts to it. The last is hospice. Which is really freaking me out. Here's a link: https://www.capc.org/about/palliative-care/
  •
  • Next, I had something inserted called a Power Injectable port, which was inserted two years ago to admnister chemo. Well, the doctor who put that in failed to tell me it was to be cleaned every six weeks. Well, I'm getting it removed soon and the the my current MD fears that it could be infected. There are pains just here and there. So just one more thing to worry about. Sigh
  •
  • I again have to go to a plastic surgeon to analyze removing the lesions. In which, if they get removed, I will lose a rib.
  •
  • Anyhow, I am so scared and sick of all this. When I get picked up for the appointment and get into the MDs office I'm shaking like a leaf and sometimes feel as I will collapse. I just feel so lonely and lost. I wish I just lived closer to everyone.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Please keep me in your prayers and please help me if you can.

Also, feel free to call me anytime. I need friends to talk to. 305.684.5663.

Thank you, God Bless, and Lots of Love πŸ’•πŸ“ΏπŸ€²πŸ™πŸ€²
