On June 28th my cat PritC came home with a dislocated jaw, it was fractured on both sides, and she was missing a small piece of bone. We took her to a emergency hospital. The next day she was taken to Harrisonburg animal hospital. They had to take new x-rays then she went into surgery the surgeon used a metal bar to put her jaw back together and two pins where the hole in her jaw was. Then we took her for weekly check ups and antibiotics. On July 6th the whole on the bottom of her jaw was oozing so we took her to the vet and they said the gum tissue on the bottom of her jaw died and if new tissue didn't grow and it didn't start healing they would have to remove the bone they gave us meds and cream. On July 13th she went back for a check up and they said her jaw regrew some tissue, she would need for the hole  under her jaw to be closed to prevent any further infection in the future. we are just waiting for some funds to come in so PritC can receive the surgery. we have went into dept and scraped together as much money as possible any help would be great thank you!❤️
