On Sunday evening, Garfield fractured a bone in his left paw. His human was able to rush him to the vet on Monday. Although the reality of needing surgery was daunting, Garfield showed incredible resilience. He stayed overnight for the procedure the following morning, and now, he's back home, resting with his safety blanky.
Garfield has a long road ahead with an eight-week recovery period, but his spirit remains as vibrant as ever. Watching him adjust, with curiosity and determination, reminds me of the joy and companionship he brings into my life every day.
