I write this with a heavy heart. As our family has recently received the news no family or no mother want to hear. On October 12, 2021 and our worst fears were confirmed. My 37 year old daughter has breast cancer and needs a double mastectomy. I want to help save the life of my daughter, Tiffany Friziellie Bertagna by setting up this fundraiser to help raise enough money that will allow her to get this surgery before it spreads and becomes inoperable. I'm trying to help her having a piece of mind that the world cares and she isn't alone. That she doesn't have to put off this surgery and take the chance of it spreading to try to work and save up reserves to pay her bills for the 2-3 months after surgery she will have to be off of work and can't afford to pay their bills as well as the 20% of her medical bills that insurance doesn't cover. I recently found out that breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women during their lifetime. Cancer has no concept of timing in your life nor does cancer discriminate in your age, your race, whether you have young children or if you own your own business and are unable to make any income not working. Tiffany and David had to use the reserve's they once had saved. Unfortunately because of a 2 month hospital stay for her kidney disease that caused a massive blood infection and sepsis throughout her body and the loss of clients during Covid and affected her business significantly. With both of those tragedies, it caused tiffany and her husband to make the awful decision to have to spend their reserves they had saved as well as cash out all of their stocks that they had and spend all to live through that rough time, leaving them with the most awful place.

Now Tiffany and her husband David as well as their two children are cursed with the decision to either take the chance that the cancer grow and could be inoperable to try to save money to get the surgery and be able to have peace of mind they won't lose their home or the their is the second choice to put our faith in the wonderful people in this world to help us raise at least 10000 to help her pay 3 months of her bills and pay and additional fund towards her medical bills. As her insurance only covers 80% and she and her husband will be responsible for the following 20%. As a mother I don't want to see my daughter take the chance for it spread more. Her husband and her 2 children need her very much. As do I. I have lost my husband my youngest son and 2 stepchildren and my father. Tiffany and her children are all I have left and I just know I am not strong enough to bury my last child left in this world. My first born, my best friend..

Please find it in your heart to donate to our cause.

We have reached out to Susan G Komen's nonprofit and most supportive breast cancer organization in the USA. I am ecstatic to say that they have reviewed our situation and agreed to support our fundraiser. I am so grateful that they have offered to help us. As the world's largest and most impactful breast cancer organization I am hoping that this touches all of you and encourages you to donate towards our cause. Help my daughter be able to get the double mastectomy that she needs and not have to have the worries that she could lose her home and not be able to afford her living expenses as well as the 20% of her medical obligations all of her medical equipment and medications she will need. Thank you for reading this and please know any donation is appreciated. If you have any questions please feel free to call myself or Tiffany at 314-471-1655 or 314-6868447. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
