Abu is a 12 year old dog who was confiscated by Miami Dade animal control on 2/28/2022. His family lost their home & were no longer able to care for him. After being vetted by the shelter it was determined Abu is riddled with CANCER throughout his entire body & is HEARTWORM POSITIVE. Understanding his medical condition is terminal we did not want Abu to spend his last days in a shelter confined to a cage, a poor diet & constant barking from distressed dogs. It definitely is no quality of life for any animal. Desperately looking for a fospice home to make this sweet boy as comfortable as possible was looking slim after a week of sharing him to everyone I knew. My lovely friend Shirley and I decided to become Co Foster Parents and bust him out of the shelter to give him the love he so deserves before leaving this planet. We are now looking to provide Abu with the best days of his life left with us. We will be taking him to a veterinarian for further evaluation on his condition, what the best quality of life would be, providing him with a "fighting cancer diet & Reiki Healing sessions. Please help us give this sweet boy the best days of his life. We don't know if he ever received the love, care and compassion he so deserved so why not start now!!
