Dear friends, I am writing this today with a heavy heart to share a story that hits close to home. One of my dear friend's daughters, who is only 10 years old, has been through a traumatic experience that no child should ever have to go through. She was molested by her own biological grandfather and has been abused by her own father MANY times.
As a mother, this breaks my heart. I cannot even begin to imagine what this family is going through. But what I do know is that they are not giving up. They are determined to fight for their daughter's safety and wellbeing. And in order to do so, they need our help.
The lawyer they need to hire to gain full custody of the child requires a retainer fee of $4,000.00. This is a significant amount for any family, let alone one that is dealing with such a traumatic situation. They are struggling to arrange the funds on their own, and that's where we come in.
I am starting this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to cover the lawyer's retainer fee and support this family in their fight for justice. I know that times are tough, but any little bit counts. Even if you could donate a small amount, it would go a long way in helping this family through this difficult time.
As a friend of this family, I can vouch for their integrity and their love for their daughter. They are doing everything in their power to ensure that she gets the justice and protection she deserves. And I am certain that together, we can make a difference in their lives.
