Update:
This is Jen a friend of Bill. I was with Bill today, 7/29/26, to help him clean and bring him a meal. He reluctantly shared that if he doesn’t come up with 6,000 by end of day today he will lose his home. Please help I can only do 1,000 myself and he can’t deal with anything more, with everything going on with his health.
Help me spread the word to save his home ❤️
Right here in Hudsonville, West Michigan, our friend Bill, 64, who is a Marine Vet, who has spent his life serving others is now facing one of the hardest battles of his own. Fighting Cancer.
After years of service and sacrifice, ongoing serious health issues have made it impossible for him to work consistently. Medical appointments, treatments, and mounting bills have created overwhelming financial stress at a time when he should be able to focus solely on healing. Like many veterans, he has always been the one to push through quietly, never asking for help — but now, the weight of it all has become too much to carry alone.
Bill is a proud member of our local community, someone who believes in hard work, loyalty, and doing right by others. Asking for support does not come easily, but the reality is that medical expenses and everyday living costs don’t pause during a health crisis.
We’re coming together as a community to help ease that burden — to show him that the same support he once gave so freely is still here for him now. Every donation, share, and kind word makes a real difference and reminds him that he is not forgotten.
If you’re able to help, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Let’s stand behind one of our own and show what West Michigan support truly looks like. 🇺🇸
