Help Snow White Walk Again After a Life of Devastating Neglect
Snow White was rescued in mid-March from an abandoned house, covered in fleas and silently suffering from a severe mammary gland infection. This sweet senior girl had clearly been neglected for years, yet she greeted us with nothing but gentleness and hope. Her infection required immediate treatment totaling $2,419—a cost we absorbed to save her life.
Now, Snow White faces another hurdle: bilateral patellar luxation, (basically disjointed kneecaps...two of them!) which makes walking extremely painful and unstable. Surgery is her only path to a pain-free life, and Dr. Hanson at NVC Nederland estimates it will cost up to $2,800.
