The annual Jog-a-Thon will take place at the University of Tulsa track and will feature students running, jogging or walking ¼ mile track. Parents are invited to participate by running with or cheering on their student. We also need volunteers to help with the water station and to track student laps. Visit this link if you can help.
GOALS AND PARTICIPATION
The goal of the Jog-A-Thon is to raise funds for USchool’s specialty programs. Students and families are asked to collect donations from friends and/or family members.
All students will participate in the Jog-A-Thon regardless of whether they collect donations, and all students will receive a free Jog-A-Thon t-shirt, as well as a certificate of completion noting the number of laps they completed.
PRIZES
- Any class which achieves 100% participation in fundraising will win a chance to watch their teachers participate in a mascot race, to be held on the track immediately following their Jog-a-Thon time..
- The top fundraising student in each class will win a $10 gift certificate for the book fair.
- The top fundraising class, calculated by determining an average amount per student, will win an ice cream party with lots of toppings.
