En la madrugada del miércoles 3 de febrero, Alexandro Rivera Magaña fue detenido en Greenport, donde reside, por agentes de ICE. Tiene una familia: un hijo con autismo severo y otro hijo de 5 años. Es un miembro importante de nuestra comunidad, que paga sus impuestos y ha vivido aquí durante más de 20 años.
OLA cubrirá los costos legales si logramos iniciar un caso en su favor. La familia de Alexandro necesita ayuda inmediata para cubrir los gastos de comida y la renta, ya que él era el sostén económico del hogar. Hasta que podamos lograr que regrese a casa, pedimos a la comunidad que haga todo lo posible para ayudar a su esposa y a sus dos hijos. Todo el dinero recaudado sera para cubrir los gastos de comida y la renta de esta familia. My name is Anita Boyer, and I am creating this fundraiser to directly support the family of Alexandro Rivera Magaña. Please note that 100% of the proceeds of this fundraiser will go to his family, I am just helping out by doing the admin.
Early on Wednesday, February 3rd Alexandro Rivera Magaña was taken from Greenport where he resides by ICE agents. He has a family. A son with severe autism and a 5yr old. He is a taxpaying and important member of our community where he has lived and contributed for over 20 years.
OLA will cover legal costs if we are able to start a case for him. The family left behind by Alexandro has immediate needs to help with food and rent because he was the financial provider of the home. Until we can get him back home, we are asking the community to do whatever they can to help his wife and 2 kids. All money raised goes to food and rent for this family. Everything is so deeply appreciated and we hope to be able to bring Alejandro home quickly and safely.
