I am Mayada from Al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip. I am a mother of two children.
My family has been displaced more than seven times, and we have lost everything. Our home was completely destroyed, and with it, the life we worked so hard to build.
My husband was a barber, but his shop was destroyed, leaving him without a way to earn an income. Since then, we have been forced to rely entirely on the kindness of others just to survive.
Every month is a struggle. Paying rent feels impossible, and I never know how I will provide food, clean water, medicine, or other basic necessities for my children. Living without a stable income means every meal, every bill, and every day depends on whether someone chooses to help us.
As a mother, it is heartbreaking to watch my children grow up in uncertainty, wondering if we will have enough to get through tomorrow. All I want is the chance to provide them with safety, stability, and the basic things every child deserves.
I am asking you from the depths of my heart, please don’t leave my family to face this alone. Every day is a struggle to find food, keep a roof over our heads, and provide even the most basic necessities for my children. I worry constantly about how I will pay rent and whether we will have enough to survive another month.
Please stand with my family. If you are unable to donate, sharing our story is another meaningful way to help. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support. ❤️
