My name is Justin Schulhof and for my Mitzvah Project, I am collecting shoes and monetary donations for Share Your Soles. Share Your Soles is a Chicago based non-profit organization that delivers shoes to those in need, targeting desperately impoverished areas around the world.
1/ Donate new or gently used shoes of all sizes for men, women and children. Gym shoes, sandals, cleats, crocs, etc. Please make sure they are in usable condition. I will be collecting shoes at my house, but if you are unable to drop them, we can also coordinate picking up the shoes. 2/ Donate any monetary amount on this website. These donations will be used towards shipping costs to deliver the shoes overseas, as it is extremely expensive.
Share Your Soles was founded in 1999 by Mona Purdy. Share Your Soles has collected over three million pairs of shoes and distributed them to 40-plus locations around the world focusing on the very needy in underdeveloped countries.
Your donations will help people that you may never know, meet, or see, but who will be given the chance for a better quality of life because of generosity.
