My name is Dixon Palma and I am heartbroken to share. That my dear friend Gio just 37 years old has tragically lost his life and his wife Anna is currently in critical condition fighting for life. Gio leaves behind three children and the youngest being 15 years of age; who are now facing an unimaginable situation dealing with the loss of their father and praying their mother pulls through and recovers from her injuries.
Gio was a well known mechanic who was always willing to help out others and Anna is a sweet person that loves to make you laugh and is always up for a conversation. Gio always said the boss of the house.
Now what happened
On April 11th at around 7:45 pm Gio and His wife Anna were enjoying a motorcycle ride back from Tampa Fla. going home to Poinciana Fla. When a 27 year old male who had no license speeding at a high rate of speed drove into their lane and hit Gio and Anna head on. The driver then took off on foot leaving the scene of the accident. When Rescue crews arrived on scene they pronounced Gio deceased and Anna as a trauma patient and flown to a trauma center at Tampa General . She is still in critical condition.
I'm raising funds to help cover funeral expenses for Gio, ongoing medical bills for Anna and to help support the children with household expenses during this challenging time. ANY CONTRIBUTION no matter how small will make a big difference and help ease the burden on the family.
