We are asking for help during an incredibly difficult and unexpected time. Our foreman, Max, has recently been detained by ICE, and we believe this detention is unjust. While we work with legal professionals to resolve the situation and fight for his release, the financial and emotional burden has been overwhelming.
Max is a hardworking, caring member of the community for the past 25 years who has always done his best to support his family and build a better life. He has 2 children who are US citizens. Alex (1.5 years old) Briseyda (21 years old) who is a senior in college. Being suddenly taken away from his loved ones has created uncertainty and hardship for everyone who depends on him.
We are raising funds to help cover legal expenses, immigration attorney fees, and basic family needs while we fight to bring Max home.
