I am so close to getting my surgery to have teeth! I am excited! I appreciate all who have helped me to this point and I am grateful I made it to this point.
I am sadly very short on affording to finish this. Amy help would be greatly appreciated!
I was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver in 2012 and given only a few months to live. After a very tough battle and support from my loved ones I was able to overcome this terminal illness. Fast forward only a few short years and in 2017 I was diagnosed with oral cancer resulting in many trips to RPCI, removal of a significant amount of tissue and bone from my mouth and throat, loss of my sense of taste, as well as losing all of my teeth. After undergoing reconstructive surgery of my mouth and jaw I have not been able to have dentures as there is no bone for them to adequately sit on.
While I am finally nearing the end of my journey after recovery from this stage of my life, I am looking for help in receiving my dental implants. I am scheduled to have them placed at the end of June however the cost must be paid upfront before any work can be done. It has taken me several months of dental visits to get this far.
I am looking forward to eating properly again! And eating foods I like. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!!
