THE DAY ELVIS DIED | Fuzzy Pancakes Produ
Friends!
We are almost there! Just a little less than $1500 to go! We are overwhelmed with gratitude to you all for supporting arts and artists in these uncertain times and helping us to bring this important message to the world with these finishing funds!
So...
Our shoot was a smashing success and THE DAY ELVIS DIED is in the can.
Now we are asking our friends and family to go ALL IN to help us complete our film in post!
In our original fundraising efforts, we came up about 5k short and our former platform took significant fees from the funds we were able to raise. That is why we have chosen to partner with the amazing SPOT FUND this go 'round. Our gap is small, and we know we can raise these funds in record time. Our team is already working tirelessly to bring the film to full fruition!
We need funds for our FINAL EDIT, COLOR CORRECTION, VFX and SOUND/AUDIO MIXING!
Hear from SHAMIKA COTTON below on the grand success of our first day on set. Look for more video from our various Producers to follow! And make a donation today of any amount to get us to the finish line!

SUMMARY OF PROJECT:
The film delves into the harrowing reality of how this cycle of abuse can persist across
generations until someone bravely chooses a different path. At its heart, the story explores the
intricate bond between a mother and daughter as they navigate the challenges of surviving within
a violent household. Through their unwavering support for each other, they confront the harsh
realities of their situation and grapple with the decision of whether to break free or remain
trapped in the cycle of abuse. The film's conclusion leaves room for interpretation. The film ultimately serves as a poignant reminder of the resilience of the human
spirit and the power of hope in the face of adversity.
