In June, our mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then it has been a whirlwind of appointments with tests, scans, and figuring out what the next steps are after learning what the diagnosis was.
Her treatment journey is starting with a double mastectomy surgery, because of the nature of this procedure and the recovery ahead she will be out of work for a long time.
If you know our mom, you know she is the kind of person who always steps up for others. She has spent her life taking care of everyone else and it is incredibly hard for her to be the one asking for help. Now, it is our turn to rally around her and step up to care for her.
As she focuses entirely on fighting this disease and recovering from surgery, we are trying to make the financial burden the last thing on her mind. With her being unable to work, the bills and medical expenses are quickly piling up.
Every dollar raised will go directly to her medical expenses, bills, and everyday costs while she is out of work so she can focus entirely on healing without the overwhelming stress of the financial burdens.
