On Thursday of March 26th, James and Mary Norton and there three grandkids who they're raising, lost their house in a fire. Their five year old grandson woke up because of the acrid odor of the house burning, scared, he got everyone up and there was smoke everywhere in the house, along with loud crackling sounds. James and Mary were able to get the kids and themselves out. Unfortunately the firefighters could not make it in time to prevent the fire from spreading throughout the house, James and Mary's home of thirty years was lost to the fire, as well as their two storage buildings, making it a terrible loss. They're now staying with their daughter and me. They have no homeowners, and they have to start all over from scratch. They are some of the best people I've met, they have helped a lot of people I know, without expecting anything in return. Funding them would be so helpful and appreciated in ways beyond being thankful.
