Pepper is A Mother Fighting for Her Life!
Pepper’s life has been one battle after another. This brave little black and white pup gave birth to two babies in the middle of a terrible storm, desperately trying to keep them safe. But just as her puppies turned four weeks old, Pepper collapsed with Pyometria, a life-threatening infection of the uterus.
She needed urgent medical care and a life saving hysterectomy to survive, and we’re doing everything we can to save her. As a small rescue, these back to back medical cases put a strain on our ability to help, but, even though we’ve had more medical cases lately, we couldn’t turn our backs on Pepper.
