Today I went to the vet because Maverick was acting off. While at the vet they noticed his belly was tender and they did an ultrasound. They found fluid in his abdomen, and when they took a sample of the fluid it was blood. That lead us to be transferred to an emergency vet who said the likely hood of him having hemangiosarcoma ( a very aggressive cancer ). As you can assume this has broken my heart completely. They gave me options but surgery is what they are pushing for. They need to remove his spleen to verify if it is cancerous or benign. Financing for me is not an option, and this is pretty much my last choice. I pray God heals him and believe he will. I need support please if you can help it could really help my boy. Thank you.
