Hey guys! This semester has been wild in the best way. As my last semester at WT, I’ve been saying yes to every opportunity that’s come my way. I’m playing principal flute in the WT Symphony and Concert Band, piccolo in Town and Gown with Dr. Garner, and had the opportunity to play in Don Giovanni. I also gave an ambitious final recital and performed in several of my peers’ recitals, all while preparing to graduate on May 15.
I was recently accepted again into the prestigious Creating Resonance Retreat with Carol Wincenc in Rochester, New York. This is an opportunity that is truly invaluable as I begin navigating graduate school and my future as a musician.
Because I’ve dedicated so much time to these musical commitments, I haven’t been able to work as much, and I’m currently unable to cover the cost of tuition and travel from Amarillo without putting myself in a difficult financial position. If you feel moved to support a young, aspiring musician, I would be incredibly grateful for anything you’re able to give.
