Because I just couldn’t let it go….
I became a super deep dive detective.
I stumbled across this ladys arrest a few days ago, she was arrested for a failure to appear which originally was concerning a boat underwater that was registered to her. What else was concerning was her weight of 50lbs. Google earth’s last photo update of her house was April 2024, and it looked cluttered but as of yesterday when i drove by, it’s cleaner outside.
Dixie, this lady has lived in that house since 2003, she currently owes back taxes for 2 years, which will result in an auction if this isn’t taken care of. Her son and daughter currently own the house and also live there. Along with one other male. They are all disabled with health issues. Dixie is originally from Massachusetts and was a RN, her husband passed several years ago.
I found a nephew who helped me with some of this information. I reached out to another lady I found, she was only related through marriage and said Dixie may have dementia but hasnt spoken to her to confirm.
She has helped people her whole life, as a community can we help her. Not just her but her family.
If we can collect enough for her taxes, we don’t even have to tell her, it can be paid through the county website.
As for legal fees, I’m not sure if a lawyer would be willing to look into it and see what can be done. Her legal fees are a lot less than the taxes.
In conclusion, this is to benefit Dixie, although it will help her children, I dont know the exact living conditions or if they are receiving any additional assistance because i dont personally know any of them or anyone who knows them. It’s just heavy on my heart to help her.
