At the beginning of October 2025, our team—GSC (Garden Spot Communities) Kenya Travel with Purpose Team—will travel to Nairobi, Kenya, to serve alongside Missions of Hope International (MOHI). We will work with urban poor students and their families living in the Mathare Valley slums, sharing hope, encouragement, and practical support with students, their families, teachers, and staff.

Our mission is not just to serve but to build relationships and demonstrate love through our actions. During our time in Kenya, we’ll be executing a two-day Vacation Bible School for elementary-age students, spending several days with sponsored children, taking them on a field trip, and organizing a few other fun surprises. We’ll also be doing home visits to the homes of MOHI’s students and using our God-given skills and talents to serve as the Hands and Feet of Jesus to both students and adults.

Why We Need Your Support
Each member of our team is responsible for raising funds to cover the cost of the trip, which is approximately $4,390 per person. This includes travel, lodging, meals, and other expenses. 

Every dollar raised will directly reduce the overall cost for our team of 16 members. Funds will be split evenly to ensure that everyone benefits equally from your generosity.
