I would never ask for help through this type of outlet if it wasn't the only route to go. I am a single mom to two children aged 11 and 8. I am currently in school fulltime as well. I currently have a car but due to little income I can't get refinanced and no one to co-sign for me so I am dealing with a very large interest rate. I am trying to buy a car outright so that I don't have a car payment anymore and trying to reduce my monthly bills. I currently have $1000 saved to go towards the purchase of another car (registration costs etc.). I live off very little and starting in February my rent increases twice what I use to pay. Any amount is helpful and greatly appreciated.
