Friday afternoon our sweet dog Brady broke his leg in two places while chasing TWO bunnies. We have already been to two emergency vets trying to figure out the best course of treatment, spending over $2000 already. We were initially told surgery would happen right away, but we’ve now learned it likely won’t happen until later this week.
Right now Brady is in a splint and on pain medication while we make decisions in trying to get him the speediest and best care. The estimated cost for surgery is between $5,000–$8,000.
This has all happened very suddenly and we are overwhelmed emotionally and financially. Brady is such a loved member of our family, and we are doing everything we can for him.
