FAMILY IN CRISIS

Newly single mother of 4 young children in desperate need of assistance . My soon to be ex husband was involved in some illegal activities unbeknownst to me and was arrested several months ago. We managed to stay in our home for a couple months but on December 1st we were forced to give up our home . I have been a dedicated stay at home mom for 8 years even homeschooling our children . My husband was the sole breadwinner and took care of all the finances. I trusted and depended on him to keep the children and I safe,  he let me down in a big way and has left us in quite the bind . To make matters worse two nights ago while we were sleeping our only vehicle and for now shelter was repossessed with the majority of our belongings and most importantly my children’s winter coats as of tomorrow at 11 AM I will be on the street with these children. I have nowhere to go nobody to turn to as I myself grew up in the foster care system.  My children don’t deserve this. What money I had managed to save from a tax return check, that by the grace of God showed up just days before we lost our house , has been spent on hotel rooms. I have nothing left. I have applied at shelters even so much as completed and passed, the background check however with the recent flooding in the area, all local shelters are full and my name is on the list , but I have yet to receive a call. I have recently applied for food stamps and TANF but only receive $500 a month cash and that has been spent spent on hotel rooms . I will get another 500 in January but that doesn’t help us now and won’t last long in January. If you are someone you know can help keep my babies off the street at Christmas.  All I want is to keep them sheltered, safe, and warm this is a universal basic need . Right now I can’t even afford to replace their coats let alone provide any type of Christmas . Shelter would be the best gift I can give them right now and a any and all help would be greatly appreciated.Even five dollars is more than we have now and if nothing else, please share and help me get word out. We are in desperate need of help as of tomorrow morning at 11 AM. We will be kicked out of our hotel room with no coats and nowhere to go. Also, any help with coats for my children would be greatly appreciated. I can go without they can’t I am praying for a Christmas Miracle.

My children and I are currently without a permanent residence. I am actively pursuing employment opportunities, having submitted four job applications, and I will continue to apply until I receive a response. We are temporarily staying in hotels, changing locations weekly to find the most affordable option. I am facing a funding shortfall of $293 for our upcoming hotel stay, which is scheduled for Monday and costs $421 for the week. I used my $500 TANIF benefit to cover the cost of our current hotel. I am aware that many individuals are facing similar challenges, and I am reluctant to request assistance, but any contribution, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated. I have already secured a commitment from an apartment manager to rent to me once I obtain employment, and DHS will provide $1000 towards the move-in costs, with the property management company offering a payment plan for the remaining balance. My goal is to secure permanent housing within the next two months, and I am seeking support to help us maintain a roof over our heads until then. I would be grateful if you could share my fundraiser if you are unable to donate. As a newly single mother, I am working diligently to regain stability.
