10/29/25 - I'm about to share the most beautiful news you've heard in a very long time: Ghazal, her younger sister Hazar and her mother Mervat have escaped Gaza.
While I can't share many details right now for their safety, I can share that they are currently safe, seeking medical care, mental health support, nutrition and getting their basic needs met.
We need to get her father, younger brother and older sister out next. We would love to eventually reunite the family with her brother in Europe, but need funds to do so.
I will be sharing a wish list in the days to come once we know where they will be staying short term. PLEASE give generously. They know no one and have nothing except the clothes on their backs!

10/10/25 - A temporary ceasefire has begun and we are quickly making moves to try and evacuate Ghazal's family once the border opens (tentatively on Thursday of next week)
We need to raise money quickly, as the fee to travel, cross, and live elsewhere will be very expensive.
In other important news, it's past midnight and October 11th in Gaza, which means it's Ghazal's 25th birthday!!!
Please join me in donating to this link so she can get the things she needs. Let's celebrate and uplift her and her family. <3

9/18/25 - Thank you to everyone who continues to support G and her family. We continue to try and find evacuation routes, but they keep falling through. This week we applied for multiple scholarships and colleges, in hopes that a university might be able to help G escape Gaza. However, it will be multiple months before anything happens and we are running out of time.
As you may know, Gaza city and the rest of the north is being forced south. Millions of people are being forced to fit into just a few square miles. The bombs and violence are constant in G's area and she may need to move south at any moment in order to avoid harm.
Please don't forget this family. They need us to keep showing up.

URGENT!!! We have secured a guaranteed path out of Gaza for G and her family!
While I cannot share any further details for their safety, we have been in direct contact with known people who have been able to leave through this method.
We need $12K to evacuate the family and they can only leave together! We have until September 1st.
Please, please share this link with your friends and family.

Thank you for continuing to support this family!
As you may already know, the situation in Gaza is reaching a fever pitch. The occupation's ground invasion is intensifying and they are starting to force families in the north of the strip south. So far, G and her family have not been told to leave, but the announcement could come at any time.
We need to prepare by fundraising the maximum amount of money possible, so that if any opportunity arises to leave or funds are needed for emergency transportation, we have them.
Please dig deep, give generously and keep this beautiful family in your loudest prayers.
Best,
Alyson
