For those who know Stacey Wolfe, you know he is someone who has always worked hard and cared deeply for the people around him. Right now, though, he is facing the hardest season of his life.
Since January, Stacey has been in the midst of a severe mental health crisis. Despite doing everything he could to get the help he needed, he has been unable to work at his job with Southwest Airlines since March. He was approved for short-term disability, but after 5 months, he still has not received the disability payments he was approved for. The financial strain has become overwhelming.
As if that weren’t enough, last night Stacey was brutally assaulted and hospitalized. He is now trying to recover physically and emotionally while facing an impossible financial reality.
Today, Stacey is just days away from losing his home. He needs to raise $2,500 within the next three days to avoid eviction. This isn’t about poor choices or a lack of effort. It’s the result of months of delayed disability payments and a series of devastating circumstances that no one should have to face alone.
If you’re able to contribute—whether it’s $10, $25, $100, or more—it will go directly toward keeping Stacey housed while he continues to recover and waits for the disability benefits he has already been approved to receive. And if you’re not able to give financially, sharing this fundraiser could make all the difference by helping it reach someone who can.
Mental illness can be isolating. Trauma can make the world feel impossibly heavy. Right now, Stacey needs to know he isn’t carrying this alone.
Thank you for reading, for sharing, and for standing beside Stacey during one of the most difficult moments of his life. Every donation, every share, and every message of support reminds him that hope still exists.
