I’m reaching out today to ask for help for someone who is going through an incredibly difficult time.
She suffered a serious hand injury at work and has been unable to work while recovering. Unfortunately, her workers’ compensation claim was denied, leaving her without the financial support she expected during this hardship. This isn’t someone looking for a handout or trying to avoid work—she has always worked hard and taken care of her responsibilities.
For the past several years, she has never missed a rent payment or been late. She managed to come up with last month’s rent, but now she is facing another month of rent along with late fees. Her property manager is unable to accept partial payments, so the full balance must be paid. The total amount currently due is approximately $3,000.
If 150 people were able to give just $20 each, the goal would be met. Even $5 or $10 would help and would be deeply appreciated.
She is doing everything she can to get back on her feet, but right now she needs a little support from her community. Your kindness would mean the world to her and her son during this challenging time.
