A couple weeks ago, an 18 year old kid made a careless decision and decided my life wasn't worth 30 seconds of his time. He took a turn on a yellow when I had the green and hit me head on. That was the start of all of our lives being turned upside down. He didnt just take my ability to work, he took my ability to be the mom I was before he made that choice for me. As you all know, prior to the accident you couldnt get me off my feet, my life was a constant state of fun chaos. I did things with my kids every chance I got and outside of that there wasn't a day I wasn't providing for them.
Now, I cant even hold my baby. I can't walk anywhere and if I do use the walker, I have to have assistance from other people just to get on my one good leg.
I sustained a TBI, a brain bleed, a lacerated spleen and a crushed leg along with other minor injuries.
The juries I sustained were not just serious and life threatening then, they will continue to be. I'm not one to ask for much. However this time, I have to ask. Please help support me during this and help support them because at the end of the day, I may be the one who suffered the injuries but their lives will never be the same either.
