On Friday, Haleigh was on her way to our apartment when she fell through a hole in the porch that our landlord had not repaired. The fall resulted in serious injuries, including a broken ankle and tibia/fibula.
Thankfully, Haleigh is on her way to a full recovery, but an injury like this takes time to heal—and unfortunately, that means time away from work.
Between the loss of income, the unexpected medical bills that are coming, and the need to move due to the situation with our landlord, we’re finding ourselves struggling financially during an already difficult time.
