Edward is an amazing young man that has shown eagerness to learn since the age of two. After careful consideration of how early Edward was exposed to structured learning. We found it through the homeschool guidelines of the ABEKA program starting at 3 years of age. He excelled through the preschool curriculum with excitement to keep learning fun and new subjects. At the age of 5 Edward is ready for lessons a first-grade curriculum can offer him, but I noticed that Edward was missing an aspect of forming relationships outside of the household. It showed when he was out in the indoor and outdoor parks where he made instant friends with other children his age and of his intellect. Edward would immediately become blue, not knowing when he would see his new friend again. Even though I wanted to contain his extremely high energy that could work against him in a public school system that may be misunderstanding and confused for a troublesome student. My wife and I desired intensely to find a solution to a great education and an environment that would share relationships with understanding for Edward. Researching the schools that would support our briefs in a great education local and fitting our lifestyle. The Montessori school system became the best option for all our needs. This choice would be a big expense for me at this time, but I am willing to do what is needed to continue Edward’s education with his new school. Where he is excited to get to school each day but not so excited to leave. He wants to attend school on the weekends as well and so he conducts school at home with his sisters. He requests educational stimulation every waking day and is fast to go to sleep early to be ready for his next day at school. After his first week at the Montessori school his appetite for learning is being satisfied. Edward has big aspirations to be an architect as well as a scientist and an aircraft pilot so he can get back and forth to his worksites. I am asking for a little help in making sure that Edward has the financial backing that is needed to support his goals. Edward will accomplish many wonderful things with the proper tools to do so.
