Last week, my daughter-in-law Krissy faced a sudden and frightening health crisis. She became very sick and was rushed to the hospital in Tacoma, where doctors determined she needed emergency surgery. The situation was so serious that she almost lost a kidney. Thankfully, the surgery was successful, but Krissy now faces a long road to recovery. She will be unable to work for the next couple of months, and with a two-year-old son at home, this has put a lot of stress on her and our family.
Â
During this time, Krissy will need to travel back and forth to Tacoma for follow-up doctor appointments and to prepare for another operation on her kidney. The costs of gas and everyday bills are adding up quickly, especially since she canât work right now. Our family is doing everything we can to support her, but we know we canât do it alone.
Â
We are reaching out to friends, family, and our community for help. Any supportâwhether itâs a donation or simply keeping Krissy in your thoughts and prayersâmeans the world to us. She is so young to be facing these health challenges, and we are grateful that we caught the problem when we did. Thank you to everyone who is able to help or send prayers. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference for Krissy and her little boy as they get through this difficult time together.
