On February 2, my brother went to the hospital with pain on the left side of his body. This propelled him into a personal health crisis first diagnosis was a narrowing of the carotid artery near the brain.  They said that there was signs that he had had a previous stroke.   Secondly, they found a tumor in his lungs.  
The treatment for narrowing of the artery, that close to the brain, is blood thinner.  They told him that for three months until the blood thinner was able to really work, that he would  Be at an extremely high risk for a stroke.After a couple days on blood thinner, he threw a blood clot into the same area.   He then had a stroke making it extremely difficult to use his left arm and leg.  Today, he had a biopsy on the mass in his lung and the reports so far have all come out completely normal. Not indicative of a tumor at all.   He was also moved today into a two week rehab facility on the campus of atrium main.   He will receive three hours a day of rehabilitation, relearning how to stand and walk.   
My brother is an auto mechanic By Trade, providing for his family of five.  He has a beautiful wife, Nerrisa, and 3 amazing sons.  
Donnie has already been out of work for nearly a month and will be in rehab in the upcoming weeks relearning how to stand and walk.  Myself, and my family would appreciate any monetary help that you are able to give at this time.  If you’d like to help, but aren’t in a place to give money, please reach out…….
