I am creating this fundraising account on behalf of Joe and Erica Kennedy.
On the morning of November 18th, while the Kennedys were having breakfast before putting the older kids on the bus, their 10-month-old daughter, Bethany, accidentally grabbed a cup of hot tea. It spilled on her, causing burns to 21% of her body. She will need to remain hospitalized for several weeks.
Because of this unexpected accident, the family is facing significant financial strain. One parent must stay in the hospital with Bethany, while the other cares for their two preschool-aged children and the older kids at home, resulting in lost income and increased expenses.
I created this fundraiser to help support them during this difficult time. Many of you know that Zack and I also walked through a season where our son was hospitalized for months. There are no words for the pain of watching your child sedated and suffering. The financial support we received allowed us to stay focused on the hard choices we had to make, and our family, and we hope to offer the same support to the Kennedys now.
