Hello, my name is Mckenzi Zeidan and with the help of Megan Longwell we are starting a fundraiser for our friend Katya. Katya was diagnosed with cancer while 5 months pregnant. She underwent an emergency c section right before Christmas and her son Israel was born at 26 weeks and remains in the NICU until he is ready to go home. However, Katya is going through chemotherapy currently.
The doctors have been running tests and trying to figure out what type of cancer it is but they are still not 100% sure. More tests will be done soon to help determine what type it is.
This fundraiser will help our friend and her family with medical bills as she goes through numerous chemotherapy/immunotherapy treatments which is to be expected for at least 6 months as well as helping with the hospitalization of baby Israel as he grows stronger and closer to going home each day. We hope to lighten their burden so Katya can focus on fighting this cancer.
Any donation is greatly appreciated. Her and her family have already received so much love and endless prayers and we are all thankful for the family and friends that are by their side during this incredibly difficult time. We can’t thank you all enough for your generosity and love.
