If you’ve met Tony, you already know — there is no one quite like him.
At the center of everything is his family. His love for Toni and their three children Dante, Angelina and Vince is the foundation he builds everything else on; the kind of steady, devoted, show-up-every-day love that is simply who he is.
That devotion extends to everyone in his life: friends, players, fellow coaches, and all those who have walked alongside him. Anyone lucky enough to have Tony in their corner knows how truly special that is. His energy is contagious, his enthusiasm genuine, and the relationships he builds have a lasting impact.
Over his 14 years as Head Football Coach at Yale University, Tony poured that same spirit into the program he loves — building a culture of excellence and integrity, shaping players into leaders, and making everyone around him better.
Recently, Tony was diagnosed with CJD, a rare and serious degenerative neurological disease. The love, prayers, and messages that have poured in since have been a powerful reminder of just how many lives he has touched, and how much people want to show up for him the way he has always shown up for them.
This page exists for those who want to do just that. There are challenges ahead that no family should have to carry alone — including financial pressures that impact every part of family life, now and in the days ahead. If you feel moved to contribute, know that anything given goes directly toward Tony and his family, so they can face what's ahead together.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Tony has spent a lifetime showing up for others. Your kindness is your way of showing up for him.
