As so many of you know, Teale has made it her life's work to help others heal and feel well.
It is now our duty to come together and return the favor! Through a series of unfortunate housing events, and, what should have been a simple procedure, she has endured a long and unwell journey to heal from two surgeries on her sinus cavity.
The home she was renting has mold present and she needs a lawyer to proceed in safely getting out of her housing situation and hopefully stopping the property owner from possible health concerns to future tenants. Not only was this her home, but also where she worked from, so this has also impacted her career. She now must find another home, store all of her and her partners belongings until housing can be accommodated, leave the property for her rising health concerns immediately, and find another work space/studio.
As you can imagine, mold is detrimental to the healing of any body function, but sinuses are extremely sensitive and mold is a severe threat to even the healthiest bodies. This has affected her mental and physical health for over a year, her pets, partner, and her career.
In order to move forward and make this landlord accountable and protect Teale's rights moving forward there are: legal fees, moving costs, disrupted work scheduled cancellations, a second surgery that maybe could have been avoided, and interim living costs that will need to be covered immediately.
I understand if you cannot, but if there is a way to give anything you can it will be greatly appreciated and help with not only the health concerns stacking for Teale, but possible future tenants as well.
